What time should I be there for the course?

It is important to be present 15 minutes before the training starts, unless otherwise stated, to allow us to register your attendance and start the training on time. The training lasts 3 hours and 15 minutes including a break

How old must I be to take the course?

To take the course, you must be at least 15 years and 9 months old.

Do I have to take the course at the same time as my instructor?

No. Students and instructors do not need to take the course at the same time.

Does the instructor need to retake the course for each student they will be practicing with?

No. An instructor training is valid for 5 years, which means that a person who is to be an instructor for several students does not need to retake the course for each student during the 5-year period.

Can I cancel my course if I have a hindrance?

Yes, you can cancel your course free of charge if the cancellation is made at least 72 hours before the course starts. Cancellations are made through our customer service.

Do I need to bring anything to the instructor course?

Yes. You must identify yourself with a valid national ID card or passport at the time of the course. Without a valid ID, you cannot attend the course.

We have completed the training, what happens now?

After the training is completed, we will register your attendance and send that information to the Swedish Transport Agency. They will save this in their system. The instructor should apply for their instructor's permit in conjunction with the training, this is done at the Swedish Transport Agency. After you and your instructor have taken the course, the instructor must apply for an instructor's permit.
